Who are we?
Lickety-Split Laundry is a two-woman team. My sister and I decided there was a real need for a service like ours in the greater-Harrisburg area, based on our own family's needs. Our parents work full time, meaning that they have no time for, or desire to do, mountains of laundry on their weekends. We thought this service was just as important to busy professionals as any other personal service, like house-cleaning or baby-sitting.
I'm Jen, wearing the red hood over there. Kait here is also an EMT-Firefighter. I just graduated from college and Kait is attending Penn State. This venture is our way of paying off school loans. Hopefully I'll be going to grad school at some point. Kait has all kinds of plans, so you'll have to ask her if you want to know the scheme-o'-the-day. =)
How do we hope to grow?
At the moment we are just a team of two, and because we are sisters we are already held to trust and accountability. Ideally, we would like to be so busy that we need more people to help run our small business. Right now, we are our own bosses, drivers, and laundresses. Depending on the community, maybe we can turn this into something big!
